Sweet handmade @ Costa Brava

We recently went for a short break from BCN to Tossa de Mar up on the Costa Brava. Such a quaint pretty little town, small enough to have its own personality but large enough that you can survive entertaining your 22 month old. We went away for Sant Joan (Catalan) or San Juan (EspaƱol) so we wandered around the town and took baby G on the fun fair while Papa failed at winning him a prize at darts. Baby G managed to hook a duck himself and secure his own prize - ah showing signs or determination and independence already :)

While I was walking through the old town one afternoon among all the touristic shops mostly, on the side of one craft/souvenir shop was a little glass case with handmade crocheted items in there! They were so sweet, little dolls dresses and miniature dolls dresses fashioned into key rings. I took a quick snap so you can see for yourself. I could of wiled away the lazy siesta hours crocheting in the sun, watching the boats bobbing up and down the coast, the sound of the water breaking on the rocks... until the sounds of "mama, mama" wake me from my little daydream... there's plenty of time for crocheting back in BCN ;) Love family holidays xxx
